Karate-do Shudoukan Honjo-shi, Saitama, Maebashi-shi, Gumma, and Nepal KatmaNdu

Our idea

Karate-do Shudoukan pursues strength. It is not the strength represented by physical strength. It is the strength of the martial art which is the traditional culture of Okinawa and Japan. Therefore, we think "you have to train the heart and the body."

You do not forget after it body operation which became once possible. It is because it is not memorized with brains but is memorized corporally. Once, if this is formed, it will become eternal.

The motion which thought as important the physical strength looked at by the present sport declines in muscular power with a peak of the level of 20 years old. Therefore, if they grow older, a limit is in sight. Contrary to it, our martial art does not think physical strength as important. We think the flow of the mind of the inside of the body, and breathing as important. Therefore, we have continued the martial art for a long time. Work of the heart, breathing, and mind are the important elements which lead a physical exertion to a higher level.

"The power and speed" automatically equipped from the right posture are important, and a "model" is very important for making the right posture. The present people are made to compete from young time. For example, taking an examination, a school. Children have combative spirit more than the adult. But, it is not a good idea to make the place of competition from the game of karate further. Therefore, we give children confidence through exercise of karate, and think that he wants to raise strong emotional strength.

With the sport-ized karate, the true skills of karate will not be useful. And martial art soul will be lost from karate. Therefore, in Karate-do Shudoukan, I do exercise bearing "the heart and martial art" in mind.
